Prayer

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NRSV

On a personal level, prayer is a conversation with God, and at St. John’s, we want to help you deepen the spiritual connection you have with our Creator.

When you have other people lifting you up in prayer, it can be a powerful expression of support and empathy. It is the congregation’s way of asking God to uphold you with His strength and shower you with His love.

St. John’s Lutheran has Prayer Chains that pray for individuals as requested. Members of all ages are part of this email chain. If you have prayer requests, please contact the Church Office.  Out of respect of individual’s privacy, we will not release details but general prayer requests (for healing, employment, peace, comfort, etc).
